To the youth of today, you don’t have to do what your parents did. Follow your own heart in all matters. You are you. They had their path; you have your path. When you wake up in the morning what is your number one desire? Just do that. It’s coming from a higher place. If you feel like you need to knit, then you are supposed to knit. If you feel like you are supposed to be a dancer, then dance. Don’t say, “That’s nice but how does it make me money?” If you follow your passion, you will make money. Can you sell something, can you offer up your skills in trade for another service. We need every piece of the puzzle. We need those that are business-minded and we need those that are medical, and those that are landscapers, and those that are students. The tapestry of life needs every part, and you have divinely picked your part before you began your earthly journey.
What are your hobbies and how important are they to you? Go where you are pulled. There is no conventional path, every path is unique and you don’t have to follow a blueprint. There is not one path to glory. The youth need to know this because they have the power to weave the strongest fabric we have ever had. Previous pieces of fabric were holey as some did not follow their calling. You thought you should make china, but instead you made plastic. To the youth, your generation is stronger than previous generations. You come with you, all the wisdom of the previous lifetimes before you. You come with more knowledge inside of you that wants to come out. There is no fear to choosing what is right for you. It needs to be a given; I have freedom to choose my future. You may want to follow in a family business, that could be your calling, you could want to start something new, that could be your calling. Whatever you are drawn to you will know by the way you lose yourself in your work. If you lose track of time and just want to keep doing it when the parents say lights out then you know you have a passion. You are building something with your hands and neighbors are impressed, then pursue that. It came easy to you, pursue it. You are going to know when it is right for you by your heart. Your heart will feel at ease and all knowing when you are completing your life’s work. Roadblocks will keep coming for you when you are up against the path that is not yours.
It is our desire to make you aware intensely how important it is to follow your life’s path and not let others steer you away from what you know is true for you. Stand in your truth and repeat, “I am me and I know what is best for me. I have everything I need already inside of me.” To the youth one final request. Have kindness as you go about your path. There is no need to push and shove. Every interaction along the way you will be faced with unknowns and treat them all like an adventure where you are the main character, and go the path that looks most exciting to you. Your journey awaits you starting now.
